El Coto de Rioja’s Paella ParadeTM Brings the Fiesta back to South Street Seaport
Celebrate Spanish Culture & Cuisine with Leading Rioja Wines

For the third year, the El Coto de Rioja Paella ParadeTM, a celebration of Spanish food and culture, brings the Fiesta back to South Street Seaport’s Water Taxi Beach. Following two years of successful Paella celebrations, ten local chefs and restaurateurs will come together once again to compete and showcase New York’s top Paella-making skills, vying for the titles of Best Use of Ingredients, Most Creative, Prettiest and the top prize: Paella Parade Pleaser.  Guests will indulge in each chef’s unique version of Spain’s most beloved signature dish during the competition while sipping on delicious wines from El Coto de Rioja.

The El Coto de Rioja Paella ParadeTM builds on its tradition of bringing together the best local New York chefs and their passion for the flavors of Spain.  Attendees will have the opportunity to taste wines of the Rioja region, from leading winery El Coto de Rioja, and discover the best Spanish cuisine that New York has to offer, watching local chefs as they prepare their top Paellas for competition. Held at the picturesque Water Taxi Beach South Street Seaport, the event brings the essence of la buena vida, delicious traditional food and wine from the Mediterranean to the shores of Manhattan, with at least 10% of proceeds benefitting the NYC College of Technology’s hospitality program and well as Action Against Hunger.
